HA Acoustics were engaged to undertake a feasibility study of the existing and proposed construction details for the proposed new gym development. HA Acoustics identified appropriate noise limits based on impact to the neighbouring properties and based on specified noise levels within the proposed gym, noise levels in the neighbouring properties have been calculated.
HA Acoustics specified an appropriate acoustic ceiling design. The client then installed this ceiling.
Following installation of the acoustic ceiling, HA Acoustics attended site and undertook Sound Insulation (Pre-completion) test. Evidence certificates were then provided to the Local Authority Planning department in order to discharge the associated noise condition.
